Isabel Garcia, host of BOLD, sits down with student leaders from UST's Filipino Student Association (FSA) and Vietnamese Student Associations (VSA) - Cecilia Nguyen, FSA president, Natasha Nguyenphat, FSA vice president, and Hoang An "Em" Nguyen, VSA president - to learn more about how the clubs are fulfilling the needs of Asian students across the campus. The clubs host activities and events that celebrate their respective cultures, but also invite others to participate in the customs and festivities of the culture. They also take a moment to address the recent wave of violence perpetuated against Asian elders and speak about an upcoming prayer vigil and townhall event where they will pray for peace, understanding and hope.
