This sermon will talk about the kingdom of heaven and why the kingdom of heaven is like the king of heaven, who is a good and faithful servant. We will talk about how what Jesus wants is for God's kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven and how we are part of God making that happen.

When we serve Jesus, like Jesus, His way, we become like Him. The master in the parable was a generous master who risked everything with his servants. When we become more like Jesus we can expect to be generous with every good gift God has given us (everything from our families to finances) and we can expect His kingdom to come.

In order to serve faithfully we need to be crazy in love with Jesus. Loving Jesus like this means we need to build a history with God. Joshua 24 shows us what happens when God's people remember their history with Him. Then we can risk being generous with every day that God has given us.
