In Session # 5 pain and grief is explored in the context of post divorce alienation and isolation from children who are caught in the middle. The topic of pain and grief is expanded upon using "A Grief Observed," by C.S. Lewis as well as a poem by Frank O'Hara. In addition, the idea of "checking-in" in therapy is explored.
