2:7-8 Possibly a reference to the man in 1 Cor. 5:2 and 5:13 that Paul urged then should be excommunicated.  Here, Paul talks about forgiveness and encouragement of the man.  (Excommunication is not to be punitive, but to encourage repentance.)  No sin we’ve committed is beyond God’s forgiveness, if we will ask for it and turn back to God.

4:18 We must look to what is eternal; everything else passes away!

5:10  What you DO matters!!!

5:17 We can become a new creation in Christ;  our priorities and activities should be Christ-centered.

6:14 “Do not be yoked with...unbelievers.”  We should WITNESS to all, but marriage and business partnerships with unbelievers can compromise the effectiveness of our faith.
