We have an incredible episode to start out the year. The Infamous Stringdusters came through the 9:30 Club, then won a Grammy about ten days later. Coincidence? We think not. The Disco Biscuits gave us the first ever back-to-back performances at the 9:30 Club and The Anthem, and I got to tape those shows, giving me my first recordings from the awesome new venue on the Wharf. Abbie Ginis joins the show to discuss her review of Justin Trawick's new EP, and Rudi Greenberg returns to the show to discuss the month we just witnessed, and what you won't want to miss in February.
And we have a t-shirt giveaway contest inspired by Rudi's rundown of shows to see in February! Whoever goes to the most concerts between today and Sunday February 18th is the winner. All you have to do is take a picture of yourself at the show, upload it to instagram and tag @DCMusicReview or #DCMusicReview, tag the venue, and tag the band or say what show it is in the description. If there's a tie we will pick a name out of a hat.
