Teach Christian

Set Free By Jesus | Studying Romans 8:1-2

Listen Later

In this video, we dive deep into the legal ways someone can be freed and how these ways relate to our spiritual freedom in Christ. Romans 8:1-2 says there’s “no condemnation” for those in Christ Jesus—what does that really mean? And what can we learn from how the law works to understand our relationship with God and salvation?

But here’s the question—if you were acquitted of a crime, would you go back to your old ways? How does God’s grace work in the life of a believer, and why does it call us to live differently? What does it mean to remove temptation and live with intention, guided by the Holy Spirit?

We explore powerful Bible verses, such as Romans 6:15 and Matthew 5:27-30, showing that while we are forgiven, we are also called to live differently. Radical amputation is necessary to remove sin's hold on us, just as we are challenged to radically remove things in our lives that lead us to sin.

If you’re ready to surrender your heart to Jesus, or if you’ve been struggling with temptation, this video is for you. Don't wait to make that decision today!
