1. Personal Argument – work of the Holy Spirit (v2-5)

v2 – How did you become a Christian? By the Spirit

Holy Spirit – convicts you of sin

Holy Spirit – new birth

Holy Spirit – assurance that children of God

You Believed & received ALL that you need

Nothing to Add

2. Scriptural Argument – Saved by faith alone (v6-14)

v6 – Paul goes back to Abraham

Abraham was made righteous by FAITH – just like us!

Believe God & take Him at His Word

v10-11 – Through the Law, we are cursed & helpless

v13 – Jesus has redeemed us & set us free!

ONLY JESUS can do this

‘Get JESUS – Get EVERYTHING’

3. Logical Argument – Law points us to Jesus (v15-29)

God made the promise to Abraham BEFORE the Law

Law – NOT greater than the promise

Law temporary – until Jesus (v19)

Law not given to provide Life (v21)

Law given to reveal sin (v19 & v22)

Law to prepare the way for Christ (v23-26)
