Like all fruit, the Fruit of the Spirit grows out of its roots, which are the characteristics of God. In the same way a tree is designed to be a dwelling place for fruit, you were created to be a dwelling place for the spirit of God. Without him in your life, thing quickly get out of hand, as your flesh dictates your behavior. And as we will see, in order to bear good fruit, you have to remain always and forever connected with Jesus.
