Set Goals with God in Mind

As the new year begins, many of us are eager to set new goals, and often health and fitness are at the top of the list. It can be daunting to start a new fitness routine, but with determination and discipline, it is possible to achieve our goals.

In Proverbs 31:17, it says, "She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks." This verse reminds us that physical strength is important and that we should take care of our bodies as they are temples of the Holy Spirit.

Setting fitness goals can also provide an opportunity to grow spiritually. As we push ourselves physically, we learn about our own limitations and perseverance. We can also use our workouts as a time for prayer and reflection.But as we begin this journey, it is important to remember that progress takes time. We should not be discouraged by setbacks or slow progress, but instead, we should trust in God's plan and continue to work towards our goals.
