On this episode of The Smoking Section Podcast, the hosts sit down with Seth St. Myers from Team Smooth Brain to talk about his journey through motorsports. Growing up just south of Fort Wayne, Seth spent his early years around dirt track racing before discovering drifting through early YouTube car culture.

Starting with a $500 Honda Prelude at just 15 years old, Seth quickly worked his way into the drifting scene, eventually building a Nissan S14 with a 1JZ swap and competing at events across the Midwest. One of his biggest highlights came in 2024 when he won the backwards entry competition at the Vibes event.

After a serious crash during a Drift Appalachia event in Kentucky, Seth made the decision to return to his roots in dirt oval racing. The move paid off quickly, earning Rookie of the Year and finishing third in points in the Indiana Superstock class.
