In this Blind Vet Tech Quick Guides and Tutorials podcast, we describe how to set up “Hey Siri” on your iPhone iPad. This feature allows you to prompt Siri without the need to press any buttons. Depending on your iPhone’s or iPad’s version, this feature will either require you to have the device plugged into a power source or available at all times. I have found this feature enjoyable, when working on my computer and I just have to ask Siri to place a call or create a reminder. This task requires one to preform the following actions:

* Navigate to the Settings App, and into General and Siri options. Alternatively, you can use the Siri commend, “Siri open your Settings” or “open Siri settings.”

* Enable Hey Siri,” which brings up a series of steps to complete.

* Upon completion use Hey Siri.
