If you’re a photographer, you know a thing or two about focus. Most of us take focus for granted since our phones automatically focus for us. But there are a few apps that let us go back to a technique where you can choose what is ‘in focus’ in the picture, and what is blurry instead. For artists, this control of focus was used to direct the viewer’s attention as desired. What was in focus naturally drew the eye of the one seeing it. In a similar way, what we choose to focus on in live will have a large impact on what we see, what we pay attention to, and how we process what happens in our lives. Love chooses what to focus on.
