The Settlement Home for Children serves individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse and neglect.  Their mission is to promote healing and growth by providing a continuum of care, support and resources. Today, we sit down with Katie Moreland, the Communications Manager, to hear more about the unique programs The Home provides to help children in foster care as well as address the some of the stereotypes children in the foster care system face when looking for forever families.
