Seumanutafa Alex McCarthy hails from the villages of Falealupo & Matautu Tai Apia Fa'atoia in Samoa but lives in West Harbour, Auckland.

Alex has lived in Samoa working with Volunteer Organisation Projects Abroad.  He has worked for NiuFM, ACC, Flava ZM, TVNZ, USP at Excel Performing Arts, as an MC host and DJ.  Alex favourite Places to visit include Cuba, Sth France and Israel 

Seumanutafa Alex McCarthy set up a facebook page PACIFIC LOCKDOWN SUPPORT FOR TEENS on 1 May 2020 as a space to share insights, inspire hope, provide knowledge, discuss cultural challenges, access tools to better navigate their unique family dynamics.
