Seven (Dustin Rhodes) in WCW
Dustin Rhodes has been through a lot of characters in his career. While Goldust was very successful, Seven his character in the fall of 1999 was not.
The character was a mysterious one with Rhodes dressed in a black trench coat, hat and his face painted white. He appeared in vignettes standing outside of a small child's window. Seven debuted in November 1999 with a one of a kind entrance, complete with him levitating over the top rope.
What followed was a 'shoot' promo from Rhodes dropping the Seven character. Rumor has it that the character was dropped because of Turner getting complaints about Seven appearing to be a child abductor.
What could have been a great character was messed up from the jump. We break it all down.
