Seven Habits: Synergy

Listen Later

Rev. Wendy shares about synergy today which occurs when people are able to combine their diverse talents and perspectives to create something new and innovative. He suggests that this can be achieved through open communication, active listening, and a willingness to consider other viewpoints.

To cultivate synergy in your life, Covey recommends:
1. Seeking out diversity: Surround yourself with people who have different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
2. Engaging in active listening: Listen carefully to others and try to understand their point of view before responding.
3. Being open-minded: Approach situations with an open mind and a willingness to consider new ideas.
4. Being collaborative: Work with others to create something greater than you could achieve alone.
5. Celebrating differences: Embrace and celebrate the differences between yourself and others, recognizing that these differences can lead to new insights and perspectives.
Overall, Covey suggests that cultivating synergy can help individuals and organizations to achieve greater success, innovation, and creativity.
