In today's readings, we are taught something about being a united people. We are called to be one loaf or one Church or Body of Christ, not many denominations. The saddest thing in the world is the fact that there are many different types of Christian Churches. There are Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodist, non-denominational, etc.

This is not the unity that we find in the readings today. For today we are told that we ought to be one, as the Trinity is one. We ought to be united with one another and cry out, "Come Lord Jesus." Like the Spirit and the Bride, we ought to be one.
