If you put your heart and your energy into baking a pie for your neighbor every day, and every day your neighbor took it, ate it, or tossed it to the side and never said “thank you!” or “I love it!” or “wow what an amazing pie!” would you keep baking your neighbor pies?  

I don’t know about you but for me, the answer is NO. 

WHAT IF your resentment was always trying to tell you something? That you’ve been giving too much or in the wrong places? What if it is a powerful signal working to help you to create a happier more aligned life if you’d only heed the signal?

This episode is me unraveling the shame and guilt I have been feeling around wanting to feel reciprocity and gratitude for the ways I show up for my husband and my family. I share my journey from woman scorned and temper tantrum extraordinaire to new understanding and acceptance of my feelings as useful tools pointing me in the direction of (or away from) what is for me, and what is not.

This is what happens when you realize the sharpest words you speak are pointing straight toward an unmet need you are neglecting to honor within yourself.

In this episode, I explore the moment I recognized a recurring pattern: once a month, luteal, my tongue becomes a viper. Rather than meeting that realization with shame, I get freaking curious about what it’s trying to teach me. Every emotion has wisdom to offer, if I could just learn how to slow down and listen without reacting.

I share a heartfelt promise I made to my sweet Matty after realizing I hadn’t treated him like the king he is to me, and the simple practice I’m beginning to help me respond with greater awareness and curiosity instead of reactivity.

• Why boundaries are about what you will do, not what you need someone else to do.

This one is so special. Matty boy is opening up more and more and I just loved getting to hear him use his voice! As for me? This 5-MeO-DMT  journey rocked my world in a way few things in this life have. It’s taken time to metabolize, and it’s been hard to find the words to translate it into shareable, useful information. No research or citations here, just me and Matt sitting down to talk about the medicine that changed us both in radically different ways.

I took 5-MeO-DMT first, back in October. Matt didn't take his journey until this May, seven months later. So this episode isn't a single shared trip story. This month I come face to face with full nervous system collapse:  my first smattering of grays, exhaustion, zero sex drive, endless wallowing and finally hitting rock bottom.

A deep heart to heart with Universe where I cry out for help and receive a clear answer: there isn't the way or the truth, there is only ever your way and your truth. When I get lost in my mind and look outside for answers, it's a lot of disappointment. When I connect deeply to what I call my IGS, or my Inner Guidance System, I am never let down.

The breadcrumbs lead me to a yoga mat on the bank of the river, to the art of doing nothing, and back to the still, quiet voice of my inner knowing. I share how Universe schools me in the unraveling of old fear patterns and learning the art of discernment: aka what is excitement aka fear of the unknown, and what is warning-fear, I am shown the eternal procreant urge, and how if I can’t find peace here and now, ultimately there is no other side, and if I am waiting for it, I will always be waiting. Season 2, Episode 5

HI FRIENDS! Settled in with a warm cup of horsetail tea and here to take you on a journey through some of the most powerful tools and ideas I've been sitting with lately.

I open up my windowsill apothecary and walk you through the every day health boosting treasures I’ve been storing there.  From tooth health to electrolytes replenishing (it's not a very far jump).

From there we dive into Wu Wei, the ancient principle of effortless action that has haunted me for years like an angel on my shoulder reminding me to heave a big *sigh* from time to time and let the energy of life work it’s magic through me.  I share a real life experience that brought its full spectrum meaning home for me in a radical and powerful new way.

Then we get into one of my favorite lessons I come back to again and again in the spiral dance of life: the art of writing a better story. The narratives we construct in our minds about other people, their motives, their actions….they're always just that: stories. So why not make them ones that free us rather than bind us? That lighten us rather than aggravate us? The stories born from the matrix of the mind aren't enemies, they're messengers, revealing something true about you.

We play in land of invisible energetic strings, I KNOW you know, the ones that unconsciously drain us, and the profound liberation that comes from plugging those leaks and reclaiming your vitality, clarity, and agency. Think of it as energetic housekeeping for your soul.
