In this 19th episode of the What Bird Are You (WBAY) Podcast, we talk
about sex education.
We describe a little about how we were introduced to sex through
conversations with our family and friends, the school system, and by
being exposed to popular culture (TV, movies, and porn).
Though sex education as curriculum taught in schools remains a
controversial subject, especially in the more puritanical communities
within the US, we feel it's important to know about various forms of
birth control and disease prevention.
We also think it's very important to understand good ways of
communication and respecting boundaries.
Also, we feel it's our job as sexually active adults to seek pleasure
while sharing the experience with our partners, experimenting,
exploring, celebrating our sexuality without shame or guilt.
This takes practice. So, let's get going.
