The Bible speaks repeatedly about sexual issues. Some matters are very clear. Other matters are not directly addressed. There are several conclusions that we can make from scripture: (1) God has a standard for sexual behavior, (2) sexual temptation is very difficult, (3) there are steps we can take to avoid sexual failure, (4) failure to live by God’s standard can be very costly and (5) when we fail there is grace and forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
