(#131) Sex vs Intimacy - How to Know the Difference

This week I’m absolutely honoured to open up this conversation around intimacy and sexuality. This is a topic that I feel needs much more discussion in general. Intimacy coaching is something I offer to people and couples looking to improve the quality of their intimate relationships. This does not mean “sex” coaching. There is a huge difference between penetration and depth of relationship. In my coaching space a-lot of what is uncovered related to communication, triggers, blueprints and coding. It a part of my business I am hugely passionate about so this weeks episode is just a beautiful opportunity for me to speak into this space with you all. This weeks episode discusses the difference between having sex, a feeling, a (hopeful) orgasm, a feeling of desire, but sex in my opinion isn’t the answer for that. Real sex (of your doing it right) is a joy, a birthright, a necessity like food and water. Something I hope women desire but it so often becomes a “chore” especially for women because the relationship potential lacks real intimacy, trust and respect. As we know, growing up both women and men have a curiosity when it comes to our bodies, our vulvas, our pleasure regions. Exploration is a huge part of life and let me remind you… there is nothing wrong with that! Too many of us associate sex and curiosity with shame and guilt. So we talk into this space and this conversation is powerful and very much worth listening to (no kiddies present please). We talk bleeding, periods and cycles…. And how disjointed the majority of us are with our natural rhythms. This episode is over an hour or sexual goodness. Really powerful for any woman.
