Sam Troth shares his story of recovery and redemption with Chris Howe on The Authentic Adversity Podcast.

Sam was sexually abused by a work colleague of his father's at the age of nine, which continued until he was 13. This ended his normal upbringing and led to a troubled life, with 68 convictions in criminal courts and time spent in prison. ​

Sam's life story is a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of addressing the root causes of issues like childhood trauma and sexual abuse. By creating safe spaces and providing tailored support, we can help survivors like Sam heal and lead fulfilling lives. ​

Sam has now walked the length of New Zealand to raise awareness for male survivors of sexual abuse and to continue his own healing journey. During his walk, he received support from survivors and workers who provided him with accommodation, food, and other necessities. Through his journey, Sam has become a voice for survivors, creating a platform for people to share their stories and break the silence around sexual abuse.

Sam is a true example of change and a voice for many that can't speak up!!
