The Sisters & Brothers series on hfn music continues apace with the next release - this time by Sexy Lazer and Oculus.

This four track EP highlights the series’ unique qualities - low slung grooves, sleazy vibes and lots of fun.

‘Thunder Striker’ kicks off the 4 tracks - a live bass line and snappy drums provide the basis for the track’s growling, prowling groove, accentuated by a superb vocals and live bass from Sexy Lazer and sparkling synth work from Oculus.

Two other versions of the track grace this release - a handy instrumental for the DJs and a rework from the co-curator of the series, Kasper Bjørke. The Dane’s remix focuses in on the bubbling, driving synth lines and adds some signature tight disco drums and additional melodic flourishes. It’s a sleek, powerful track sure to feature heavily on a lot of dancefloors over the next months.

Additionally, the release features ‘Excuse My Boston Accent’ - another attitude-full groover with a killer bass hook - perfectly merging live elements with exceptional programming and off-kilter vocals.
