American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh is regarding as one of the greatest journalists of our time for his work during the Vietnam War and Gulf War.
Hersh started his career as a coffee boy at the City News Bureau in Chicago.
He told Mike Hosking he loved his time there.
"I had a great time [...] I learned a lot, I learned about dealing with cops, I learned about waiting for the coroner [...] I learned about race."
Seymour Hersh has released his memoir Reporter which looks back on his career highlights.
