Amy has traveled extensively to study indigenous healing methods and plant-based medicine, having led expeditions to the Amazon and Andes, Ecuador, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea and the Republic of the Congo.

She is founder the non-profit group called “Healing Seekers” that creates unique educational materials for school systems, educators and the general public. Materials are additionally with two of the world’s largest on-line streaming venues, involving over 100,000 schools in the USA alone.

In March, 2018,Healing Seekers released its award-winning 77 minute documentary about the team’s 2 month trek into undocumented regions in the Republic of the Congo, entitled “Expedition Congo”.
