On Shabbat 95 the concept of what toladot, derivatives, of the 39 main categories of work is discussed relating to personal grooming of women on Shabbat. Rabbi Steven Kane is the spiritual leader of Congregation Sons of Israel. Rabbi Kane was ordained at JTS and holds a Master’s Degree in Judaic Studies and a Bachelor of Hebrew Literature degree from the University of Judaism as well as a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
