This week, we’re delving into the ghosts of Mt. Everest and then talking about the Soap Maker of Correggio.

First up, Dreia is going to tell us all about the multitude of ghosts that hang out as shadow people begging for food on Mount Everest. The ghosts are all very hungry, but there is one that will offer you tea and one that will go all Lorax on your ass if you cut down any trees. We have some pretty clear priorities, though, we’re here to talk mint cakes and ghosts NOT yetis, so don’t come at us with that ish.

Maggie is about to bum everyone out with her take on Leonarda Cianciulli, also known as the Soap Maker of Correggio. While Leonarda may have made soap the normal way to sell in her shop, she also once made soap out of the fat from the body of one of her victims. Guys, she was just trying to protect her son from death by performing human sacrifices. And what’s a human sacrifice without a little human fat soap and bloody tea cakes?
