Interesting Theme

A most enjoyable story with a very interesting theme about a two people who have found religion and how, when it is understood and applied correctly, they are able to live their lives well according to the teachings.

Other characters have been brought into this story from other stories in this series and they all play a good supporting role and help this new couple.

As usual, a very interesting and enjoyable story which has been nicely narrated by Jeff Moon and I am happy to recommend it.

The audiobook version was provided by the author at no cost and this is my honest and unbiased review.

Great continuation of the Shadow Series!

This classic marriage of convenience proves that even happy endings can have a rocky and interesting journey! Anna is homeless and Billy is wifeless. They need each other in their situations in life. What they do not count on is that love has a way of getting in the middle of their best laid plans of just helping each other out.

Barbara Goss continues her Shadow series with Billy's story. It was a great story and Jeff Moon did a wonderful job telling her story!

Started as a marriage of convenience Billy needs a wife so that he could get the job as a preacher. Anna needs someone to take care of her. This is a great series.

What's Love Got to Do with It?

It helps, in life, to be able to learn. To absorb others' actions, manners, and speech patterns and be able to mimic them. To be able to assess a situation from more than one angle, and to be sufficiently flexible to adapt to changes. Here we are introduced to potentially the most illogical of possible arranged marriages, and these same qualities, shared by BOTH parties, create the necessary magic for this HEA--with all of Ms Goss' usual flair for intricate plot placed in realistic historic setting and as beautifully narrated by Jeff Moon. Knowing the other players from previous tales in the series is a bonus for you but unnecessary for enjoyment as this story does stand alone.
