This is our 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons campaign: SHADOW OF THE DRAGON QUEEN. Taking place in the Dragonlance campaign setting.

The reenactment did not go as intended.  Many of Cudgel’s Ironclad regiment, led by a half-ogre named Gragonis, drew real steel and turned on their comrades and the villagers alike.  Despite the carnage, the party managed to bring down the half-ogre and most of his fellow deserters.  Questioning a prisoner, they learned Gragonis was paid off by someone to betray and kill Cudgel and use the regiment to take Vogler.  As a favor to the mayor and all of Vogler, our heroes escort Cudgel back to her camp to the north so they can investigate what exactly is going on.
