Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
The three major missions of Act One: recruiting Ryojo (Straw Hat Ronin), Lady Masako, and Sensei Ishikawa, had been completed. So now, we can go to rescue Lord Shimura. Jin Sakai didn't want to delay any longer. He told everyone to gather at Castle Kaneda. They would rescue Lord Shimura today.
Everyone arrived on time, but Ryojo didn't show up. This made Jin a little worried. Still, he decided to start the mission now.
Before the attack, Jin explained the plan. Lord Shimura was kept in the main house of the castle. To get there, they had to pass through several levels of guards. There was danger in attacking directly because the enemies could kill Lord Shimura if they became alert. So they had to enter stealthily.
The plan was simple. Jin would go down the hill alone and enter the compound below. He would quietly finish off the soldiers there and destroy the signal system. Then he would open the main gate so that the rest could enter.
Jin used his grappling hook to climb the mountain. Without this hook, the mission would have been much more difficult. He struggled up the mountain and entered the castle.
As soon as he entered, he looked around carefully, who was standing where, who should be killed first and he planned everything.
First, he quietly killed a soldier standing outside from behind. He went behind him and took out his small knife and stuck it straight into his eye. I don't know how it happened, because I've never seen Sakai stick a knife in eye before. Usually, he sticks a knife in her throat, but this time, he stuck it straight into her eye.
Then he finished off another soldier who came out of the next room by hitting him in the neck. When he entered the room, he saw another soldier fast asleep. Jin approached and killed him in his sleep.
Then he slowly went to another room. There, a soldier was taking care of the food. Before he knew it, Jin followed him and finished him off too.
After quietly removing 3 soldiers, Jin's next task was to destroy the signal. Looking out the window, he saw two guards standing near the signal. If he attacked them now, they could set off the signal. So Jin wisely blew a whistle. When one soldier came apart, he quietly killed him. Now there was one left. Jin went after him, hit him, and finished him off.
When all the guards were dead, Jin also destroyed the signal. Now that the way was clear, it was time to open the main gate.
