In the biblical narrative, Jesus spent 40 days and nights fasting in the desert, where he encountered temptations and underwent a period of spiritual testing before beginning his public ministry. This period is often seen as symbolic of self-reflection, spiritual purification, and preparation for a significant life purpose. I share how this part of Jesus' life refects our modern day Shadow Work, and Dark Night of the Soul.
