Avreet Jagdev talks with engineer and environmental activist Shahnewaz Chowdhury.

In 2021, Chowdhury encouraged Bangladeshi youth to resist harmful developments such as coal-powered power plants. His subsequent arrest made global headlines, and he was eventually granted bail. However, he still faces charges, and if convicted, faces up to 10 years in prison.
