Melissa Brown notified us of a fundraising opportunity for the Noseworthy's:
THE BETTER TIMES BENEFIT:
Laura and Keith Noseworthy have been the backbone of this community with their constant efforts to make a difference. Laura has served the School Board, PTA, End 68 Hour of Hunger, numerous other community involvement activities. Now let's show them the same support they have shown others.
On Thanksgiving Night, Keith's parents were involved in an automobile accident, leaving his father and grandmother in serious condition, and causing the death of his mother.
Just before Christmas, Laura's mother was killed in an automobile accident.
February 2nd 6-9 at Nute High School come show your support for the Noseworthy Family. For just $10.00 a ticket, there will be a band performing, appetizers and deserts, along with raffles, laughs and good times.
Babysitting is being offered on the 2nd floor of Nute for $5.00 per child, $2.00 per sibling, which includes pizza and activities. HOWEVER, you must sign your child up in advance.
Tickets can be purchased either by contacting Tammy Crandall, Melissa Brown or by stopping by Sentimental Resale in Milton.
For babysitting sign ups, please email Tammy Crandall at [email protected]

NOTE TO THE PUBLIC OF MILTON/MILTON MILLS
This has been written with Mr. Andrew Rawson permission and if you have questions for him, he can be reached on Facebook. I asked permission prior to passing this info on.
After our Milton Advocate meeting yesterday one of our regular attendees, Andrew Rawson, was driving by the new property Mr. Chaney purchased and has been working on to make apartments. He saw Mr. Chaney was there so he decided to stop and talk with him as a concerned citizen to discuss demo property. He asked if Mr. Chaney was interested in the property and he said yes for a good price, spoken as a true realtor. Mr. Rawson asked what was his intension for the property and he said to turn it into a parking for his apartment tenants. Mr. Rawson asked him had he contacted the BOS and he said yes, several times with no response and he had contacted with the Town Administrator (TA) to discuss or pass on to the BOS with no response.
Mr. Rawson also said if Mr. Chaney bought the property, he could take down the building. Ding, ding that could save this town tax dollars. I am so glad our meeting and interest prompted Mr. Rawson to stop and talk with him. Of course, this is a general conversation that was not formal nor in no means prompted by any of our boards or members. This was a concerned citizen going straight to the horse's mouth.
So, my question is if we where to sell and let Mr. Chaney buy the property with the intention of the town keeping enough of the property to access the 50 acres owned by the town, which Nick Marique brought up at our Milton Advocate Mtg., above that property we could build a town parking lot along side of Mr. Chaney's parking lot and have public access to that property to develop a park, walks, observation tower, disk golf, many ideas.
Regards,
Lynette McDougall
