For more than 50 years, Texas singer-songwriter Shake Russell, has been entertaining audiences throughout the region and all over the United States with his unique Americana style of folk rock.  Weaving sophisticated harmonies through his songs and drawing from various genres, Shake created a style of folk-rock that is uniquely his own.

7 Questions from Shane is an interview series featuring musicians who perform at McGongiel's Mucky Duck, a small club in Houston, Texas. The Duck hosts an average of 8 shows a week and features local acts and national touring performers.

We began the interviews as a part of our The Live from Norfolk Street concert recording series that began as a way to help maintain the connection between our performing artists during the COVID-19 pandemic. We liked it so much that we've kept going...We hope you like it too.
