Katie and Christie are getting to know social stigmas and how to use them to their advantage. A social stigma can come in many shapes and sizes, but overall, it is a characteristic that the general public disapproves of or discriminates against. In this episode, Katie and Christie will address a few of the social stigmas they "fit into" and how they are breaking free from them. They discuss embracing those stigmatized traits and using them to empower thyself, rather than be ashamed, and why representation matters in the face of social stigmas. They will also touch on what led to this new perspective, how stigmas are different than being "unconventional", and what their process is to learn how to love their uniqueness.
