Shame Dies When Stories Are Told In Safe Spaces

Listen Later

In this episode I share the first part of my reinvention coaching framework, which covers vision, calibration, beliefs, and self-worth. Inspired by the quote “Shame dies when stories are told in safe places.”

I talk about how my own vision for sobriety started as a quiet whisper I was too scared to share. Once I voiced it, it began to grow, and I saw the same happen for my clients.

I share my journey of uncovering limiting beliefs, like the fear that telling the truth would cost me love, and how letting go of that belief was a turning point. Finally, I reflect on self-worth, how people-pleasing once felt like a way to belong, and how sobriety taught me that prioritising myself is sacred, not selfish.

Wherever you are in your journey - sober, sober-curious, or simply seeking clarity - I want you to know your vision matters, your beliefs can shift, and your worth is never in question.

Here are the highlights:

The Power of Vision (2:10)

Calibration and Incompletions (4:53)

Beliefs and Their Impact (6:14)

Self-Worth and People Pleasing (8:38)
