Shame is the deep feeling that we are flawed or damaged or undeserving of love. Shame says that our feelings must be truth. And it roots itself so deeply into our hearts that many times we can't even recognize where it is lurking. Today we are calling it out. Welcome to the table of conversation with my friend, Sara Davis, as we dive into a two part episode on shame. We are identifying it in our lives, talking about where it most often hangs out, and discussing why those self-esteem talks just aren't permanent fixes for something like shame.
