Australian entertainer Shane Jacobson purchases the historic Datorang Hotel in country Victoria without seeing it first and with no renovation experience. The pub, originally a post office and wine shanty from the 1800s, serves as the beating heart of the farming community in the Kiewa Valley, about three and a half hours north of Melbourne. Jacobson teams up with his mate, film director Dean Murphy, and local residents including dairy farmer Geoff Reid to renovate the venue, which also hosts a wedding just six weeks after purchase.
