The Queensland Police Service sent an email, acting as the union, to all officers offering a five per cent pay rise as a part of a 'training exercise' to test staff's willingness to engage in phishing emails.
QPS Union President Shane Prior told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "This just makes the process of us emailing our members harder."
"They may think that if they get an email from us about enterprise bargaining, that it's just a scam and that is just a significant breach of trust on our part," Mr. Prior said.
