Shannon has worked in the residential development sector, focussing on city centre development, for almost 20 years. Starting out in estate agency, she then studied to become a Chartered Surveyor which led to her being a Residential Director at one of the world’s largest property consultancies, JLL. 

Since 2019 she has been working at Glenbrook, one of the UK’s leading Build-to-Rent developers, helping design and fund large residential-led regeneration projects. She sits on the national advisory board for Women in Property, the board of her local Community Land Trust, and the GMCA’s Ageing, Housing and Planning working group.

In 2022 she was named a Property Disruptor by North West Business Insider, and Residential Property Personality of the Year in 2023.
