On this episode of The Newman Bond we check in with Assistant Professor Shannon Johnston as she presents her latest project during November's Art For Lunch. Johnston's exhibit, "Qualities and Quantities," explores her experience as a mother. Her art uses data she collected during her journey with her first child and later with her second. The exhibit focuses on the repetitive, everyday routines of parenting—like feeding and caring for her babies—rather than just the numbers or facts behind them (like how many ounces of milk her child drank or how many hours of sleep they got).
