EP16 - Shannon Thomas is an amazing person and is dedicated to diplomacy and peace. Through her years at Berkeley and Harvard Kennedy school, she received degrees in Middle Eastern Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, as well as International and Global Affairs Concentration. Her time involved with trying to find the middle ground and resolve conflicts led her to help create the Olive Tree Initiative, which helps students become educated and empowered with the tools to negotiate peace. These, along with many other amazing contributions, brought her to be involved as the fundraising director for the Amy Vilela congressional campaign in 2018. Catch her cameo in on the Netflix documentary, Knock the House Down to be inspired.
