We know that "earth" in Genesis 1 is not referring to a globe floating in space.  Genesis is quite clear about the meaning of "earth" by using "earth" as the name of the dry land.  With this in mind, it's natural to wonder what ancient Israel thought the earth's shape was?  The Bible gives us many clues that lead to an answer and today we will be looking at each one step by step while we discover the shape of the earth.
