After a childhood spent on Army posts and the outskirts of Chicago, Samantha found her calling in helping others. She began her career in the creative field, holding jobs in video production, advertising, and public relations. It was only a matter of time before the pull to serve was too great and she moved into higher education, helping non-traditional students and business connect with accessible degrees.
Throughout her career, Samantha developed a reputation for connecting needs to solutions and leaving a wake of results. She has served on various non-profit and professional boards and committees, including local chapters of the American Marketing Association, Executive Women International, and Junior Achievement.
After years of juggling full-time careers and passion-based side-hustles, Samantha experienced a life-changing surgery that shifted her perspective on time. She started Origami Day to help others bring balance to their busy lives. As a reformed workaholic, Samantha now empowers others to create a lifestyle of balance and provides the tools to maintain it through prioritization,
and planning, and time management training.
Samantha holds a BS degree in Public Relations from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from King University. She has proven that every person can be both present and productive in their lives, if they simply choose to be. When she is not helping individuals and progressive companies shape their time, Samantha spends her days enjoying life with her loved ones.
