This week, we are joined by Enrique Solorzano to talk about Sabbath. Enrique has been a part of the NLCF staff team for about two and a half years and in just a couple months, he'll heading up to Happy Valley to help start a brand new church, Storehouse, at Penn State University. In this episode, he walks us through his experience with Sabbath and gives us some practical steps to take as we make Sabbath a part of our regular weekly routine.
Reflections and important things to keep in mind in practicing Sabbath:
1. What did you enjoy doing as a child? What do you enjoy now? How do you play?
2. Spend your day doing things you enjoy and that you're not responsible for.
3. Ask God, "How can I see you moving now that I'm still?"
4. While practicing Sabbath, maintain your daily rhythms of spending time with Him.
5. Trial and error is key.
