On this episode, Olivia and Rod wrap up the sermon series on Jacob by looking at the blessings Jacob bestows on his sons—specifically Reuben, Judah and Joseph—in Genesis 49. Rod explains how meaningful these blessings would have been to Jacob’s sons and the significance of God’s persistent use of Abraham’s family to bring about His purposes. Olivia and Rod end their discussion with an encouraging note about God’s faithfulness, both to Israel and to the Church.
