When Jesus told His followers that they should freely give because they had freely received, He used an interesting Greek word for "freely" that is where we get our word for "gratuity." In a world where we should be marked by generosity, Christians are too often marked as grumpy, entitled, and bad tippers! In this message, Paul shares how we can always live with a generous spirit, and shares a quote from an early historian about how the early church changed the world be simply being generous. The greatest acts of generosity flow from the greatest awareness of need, but not another's need; our continual need of the Gospel.
