A Huskies Health

Sharing Experiences From Relationships

Listen Later

Chris Bellamy and I return with A Huskies Health, our second episode and we address the pressures of being a college athlete, the stress involved with expectations that are unrealistic. The money involved, coaches and fans who demand perfection from players. Chris and I share stories about decisions we have make not thinking of ourselves but putting others first.

It ended up backfiring for me and blowing up my life. Chris talks about being in college and having to adjust to not playing right away which sent him into a depression. Instead of seeking help, both of us tried to push through and it was a mistake. A great episode where Chris provides a lot of amazing advice and insight. Remember, it's okay NOT to be okay.
