"There's this motivation inside of me that's saying no, I want to go to work. I want to help people. This is where I'm needed the most - why would I back down now?" This is the courage that Emily Potusek has found from her trust in the Lord. As a nurse who works with patients in the COVID-19 cohort, Emily's work looks a lot different now as she takes on new skills to help her fellow nurses and staff as they help others. But all the while, Emily is convicted in this mission that God has entrusted her with — one that helps people in their time of suffering and need. In this episode, I talk to Emily about how she got into nursing, how her faith continues to strengthen her, and what the reason is behind her radiant smile.
