The Daddy Shark Edition

That’s right we’ve launched Daddy Shark on September 10th. Let’s talk about some transparency. We tried to do a whitelist, but apparently DxSale doesn’t handle duplicate addresses. That coupled with BSC degens inability to follow instructions made it an absolute nightmare to deal with. After messing with it for a good hour or so, we decided the best course of action was to let everyone know then simply disable the whitelist.

We did that, and the 300 bnb hardcap filled in about 12 minutes. Which I believe was a few minutes faster than the BabyShark presale filled. Once that happened we were ready for launch! At 6am pacific time 9 am eastern on September 10th, Daddy Shark came home!

Let’s get into some of the exciting things Daddy Shark is currently doing. First we have the customizable rewards dashboard which can be found at https://www.daddysharktoken.com/dashboard. If you go there, make sure to let the main shark image load before you hit the menu and then hit the rewards section. If you don’t let the shark load, more times than not the rewards section won’t load properly.

Also just FYI, the only token you are unable to set as your custom rewards, is DaddyShark Token. Other than that you should be able to set any BSC token as your custom reward. Also it won’t work if you are trying to put wallet addresses in there. So make sure you are getting the proper token contract address from bsc scan.

Who’s ready for Fee Free bnb Daddy Shark reinvesting! This is an upcoming feature so it’s currently not on the dashboard, but it will be soon. If you want to take advantage of fee free reinvesting right now, you’ll need to go into the Daddy Shark contract, connect your wallet using the connect to web3 text, then scroll down to option 3: buyBackTokensWithNoFees. Assuming you have bnb rewards in your wallet, you can use this to purchase DaddyShark without paying the fees!

Listen up sharks, the dawn of the Daddy Shark presale is almost upon us. I wanted to get some helpful tips and instructions down in one spot for you all. Plus, I wanted something else to read to you. It turns out I enjoy reading to you as much as you enjoy listening to me read to you. So we’re both satisfied. Very good then.

First thing is first, make sure you are signed up to the Daddy Shark Token Whitelist, located here. Once you get signed up, you should be good to go. Just make sure you use the same wallet you signed up with to purchase your Daddy Shark Token presale bag.

Here’s some presale information. The whitelist presale starts Friday, September 10th 2021 at 1:00 AM UTC. There is a .1 BNB minimum, and a 2 BNB maximum. The soft cap for the presale is 250 BNB with a 300 BNB hard cap.

This might be an hour off, because well, time zones are hard.

Daddy Shark should launch Saturday September 10th 2021 at approximately 1:00 PM UTC. Click here for that timer.

Now we wait… If you want to prepare, make sure you are able to use the Dapps browser on your wallet. We recommend either Trust Wallet, or Metamask.

This would be a fantastic time to go buy 100 bucks worth of BabyShark token and get signed up for the Playstation 5 / WonkaStone giveaway.

Once the official presale link is available, you will use that link to access DxSale.app. Sometimes the wallet dapps browser will have some issues connecting to DxSale.app. If you experience the loading issue, simply remove the “s” from https in the address. That will usually fix the loading issue.

The other thing to look out for is that your wallet is using the BSC network. Check the upper right hand side of the screen. If you see the Eth logo, you need to tap that, then select Smart Chain. Once you do that, reload the page and you should be good to go.

Let’s talk about security for a moment. This part is very important. Do not use any link that you did not receive from official BabyShark and Daddy Shark token channels. There will be a lot of scams out there, you must stay vigilant when dealing with defi. Remember, there is no tech support in DEFI, you are completely 100% responsible for dealing with your funds.

Be smart, and remember devs will never DM you asking for money. Also never ever ever give out your wallet seed phrase, or private key. Ever. Also remember that no one is trying to give you free money. Don’t let yourself get socially engineered. If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. If you ever have any questions on whether or not something is legit, please get a hold of one of the official team devs. We are here to help you.

Hello sharks! With the launch of Daddy Shark just around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to go through the Daddy Shark tokenomics with you. We’ve been getting a lot of questions about how Daddy Shark is going to help BabyShark token, and even more questions wondering if BabyShark Token is going to get abandoned.

First let me just say that everything we create is going to benefit BabyShark. BabyShark is our charity token, and the reason the majority of us got involved with the project in the first place. That being said, without volume, we are unable to do any charity work.

The way contract versions work, we would have been unable to add all of the features and functionality we wanted to add into the original BabyShark contract without doing a relaunch V2. So we decided to leave the BabyShark Token contract alone for the time being, and focus on creating a new token from scratch that would add value to the BabyShark Token ecosystem, thus allowing us to continue doing the ocean saving charity work BabyShark Token is known for.

Daddy is Coming Home Soon!

Now that you know the why, let’s talk about the how. Daddy Shark tokenomics will utilize a 10% tax on all buy, sell, and send transactions, broken down as follows.

* 3% sent to a multisignature wallet reserved for marketing and development.* 3% awarded to holders as rewards, which are customizable in our dashboard.* 2% sent to the liquidity pool to ensure it is constantly being funded.* 1% used to buyback Daddy Shark Tokens, so the price floor is constantly rising.* 1% used to buyback BabyShark Tokens, so Daddy Shark always pumps BabyShark.

As you can see from the tokenomics, we’ve got Baby’s back. By default, the Daddy Shark token rewards are set to BabyShark. You can change that to whatever token you would like to be rewarded in, and that is easily done inside the dashboard. Although if you still want to help BabyShark do the cryptoceanic conservation work we’ve been doing, you should leave those rewards set to BabyShark Token.

The 1% buyback of BabyShark will initially go towards building up the liquidity pool for the BabyShark Token game that will be coming out sometime after Daddy Shark and the NFT’s launch. This will give you something fun to do with your Shark NFT’s.

Our roadmap for the Daddy Shark launch will look a little something like this. First the Daddy Shark Token launch will happen on the 10th. Sometime after that we will launch the NFT’s, with the NFT marketplace shortly after. This marketplace will have some fun minigames for you to play and get familiar with your Shark NFT’s. After all that is done, we will launch our full NFT game.

Hopefully this helps clear up some of the FUD we’ve seen in regards to BabyShark Token being dead, or getting abandoned. Just know that everything we create in this ecosystem will always be tied back into BabyShark Token. We know why we started this project, and we know why you invested in BabyShark Token. Our mission from the beginning was to try and leave the planet in a little better shape than we found it, and that will never change.

I know what you’re thinking… Why should I use my own time and resources to help pump the project? Because that’s what sharks do. If you are holding BabyShark tokens, or Daddy Shark tokens once Daddy is launched, you should feel honored to participate in the community. We’re trying to build something so much more than just awesome tokens with beautiful NFT’s and a fun game to play with them.

We’re building a community. An environmentally conscious community. More than that, I feel like we’re building a lifestyle, which, at it’s core, strives to look out for one another. We’re building a community that is going to do it’s best to keep on point with the mission. To leave the planet a little nicer than we found it.

Let’s sweeten the deal a little bit. I know my audience, and they aren’t the picture perfect persona of altruism some might lead you to believe. Sure, the vision of a blockchain powered crypto-utopia is intoxicating, but let’s fuel that motivation with some next level gear.

The team just finished up a fantastic meeting with our nft / game devs. We can’t reveal all the details yet, but what we can tell you is this. The NFT Marketplace is coming soon. How soon? I don’t know if we want to give a solid date yet, but if I peer into my crystal ball I’m seeing somewhere in the range of about 4 to 6 weeks. But wait, there’s more!

Before our NFT marketplace comes out, we have another big announcement!

Daddy Shark Token will be launching soon! In the next two to three weeks we’ll be gearing up for the launch of Daddy Shark Token, complete with a handy rewards dashboard that will allow you to set whatever token you would like to receive rewards in. Of course the default setting will be BabyShark Token. We are super excited to bring you a fun new rewards token, that, regardless of the default reward token payout set, will pump some much needed volume into BabyShark Token.

The last thing before we wrap up, some of yall have been asking about another staking farm since the babyswap farm ended. Well, you will be pleased to know we are finalizing talks with Soku swap to have a babyshark token farm there. We’ll have a full write up on the blog once everything is finalized.
